*Our play school is powered by the innovative Play Sense curriculum, designed for toddlers aged 2 to 5. It nurtures curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, setting the foundation for lifelong learning and development whilst establishing essential school readiness skills. Play-based learning involves engaging children in activities that stimulate their imagination, enhance their problem-solving skills, and fosters social interaction, all within a supportive, loving environment where individual attention is key. Our Fees include:

Hours & Holidays
* 6:30 – 8:00 am – drop-off
Half-day collection between 12:00 – 1:15 pm
Full-day collection from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm
* We offer a holiday program for our aftercare children during school holidays at no additional cost.
* Holiday programs are filled with activities and fun to keep children busy and entertained.

Extra-mural Activities
* We offer a wide range of extra-murals to choose from - to aid with our little ones holistic development, and to ensure the further development of our kids at Oopsy Daisy.
* Two out of three specific extra-murals are compulsory. First Wiggle & Jam (music development program), and then a choice between either Penguin Play (Gross Motor development program) , OR Dance Mouse, (a Cognitive Dancing development program). These activities form part of our holistic development program.
* All extra-mural activities are presented during morning school hours at Oopsy Daisy, from 9:30 - 11:30.
* Each actitivy has a specified time, so that no activity overlaps.
* All our kids are given sufficient time to take part in extra-murals, class activities, arts & crats, and playtime.
Menu
* A new menu is introduced each term – helping to develop new tastes and get little ones used to different textures.
* The menu consists of a well-balanced diet – proteins, vegetables, starch, and fruit.
* The menu includes a freshly prepared breakfast, cooked lunch, and sandwiches with fruit for aftercare.
* Every Friday, a child gets the opportunity to prepare baked goods/treats for their class to sell as a fundraiser for that class.

Other important offerings:
* Potty training – when our children are ready, we begin with potty training in cooperation with home.
* Our occupational therapist assists children with learning challenges weekly in a group class (recommended by the teacher – payable as an extra-mural activity).

Communication
* Regular feedback and communication with parents
* Our teachers are available on WhatsApp during school hours for quick messages.
* Classroom App (ClassDojo) – see what’s happening in the classroom through “class stories” (photos and short video clips).
* Classroom App (ClassDojo) – each child has their own portfolio (visible only to parents) showcasing photos of their fun activities.
* WhatsApp groups – for each classroom as well as the school as a whole. All important information, dates, events, and more are shared with parents here.
* Oopsy Daisy has an open-door policy. Please feel free to discuss any concerns, share compliments, or make suggestions!
Safety
* Safety is very important at Oopsy Daisy.
Each parent must indicate on the application forms who is allowed to collect their child from the school. Any other person who may be used at short notice must be arranged with the teacher on duty.
* We have a security service that patrols our area, and we are linked to armed response with panic buttons and an alarm system.
* All Oopsy Daisy fire extinguishers are serviced annually.
*Furthermore, all emergency procedures are in place eg. Fire drills, evacuation plans etc.

* We warmly invite families to our Mother’s Day, Grandparents’ Day, Father’s Day, and more.
* We have a full and exciting yearly program with Interesting visits (farm yard etc), Themed Fridays, baking activities, Fun Fridays, and fundraising events.
* At the end of the year, it is time for our concert and Graduation ceremony for our Grade RR children.
