In the Classroom:

* A wide use of learning materials and methods - including sensory-, imaginative, constructive & cognitive play.
* Classroom assessments plus reports, 3 times a year.
* Craft books for kids art as keepsake.
* A Caring & Attentive Teacher and Assistant in small group classes.
* Teachers are First-Aid trained.
* We follow a set program every day to ensure a routine for our little ones, that make them feel safe, secure & loved.
Extra-Mural Activities:
* Various selection of extra murals to choose from - to enrol your child as your wish, to enhance their holistic development and learning at Oopsy Daisy.
* Two extra murals are compulsory at Oopsy Daisy at a cost of R130/activity/month, namely Wiggle & Jam (music development program) & Penguin Play (Gross Motor development program). These activities form part of our holistic development program.
Menu:
* A well-balanced diet (new menu every term) - helps to develop new tastes and get accustomed to new textures.
* The menu includes freshly prepared breakfast, cooked lunch & aftercare sandwiches & fruit
Operating Hours:
* Morning drop-off from 6:30 - 8:00 am.
Half-day kids pick-up between 12:00 - 1:15 pm.
Full-day kids pick-up: From 3:00 pm to 5 pm.
Grace period 5:00 - 5:30 pm
* We offer a holiday care program for our Aftercare kids during school holidays (working parents- no cost).
Communication:
* Ongoing parent feedback
* Our teachers are available on whatsapp all day for quick messages or check ins.
* Classroom app(Classdojo) - see what's happening in the classroom every day (photos ).
* Classroom app - every child has their own portfolio (only the parents can view this) which showcases their work and progress.
